The Executive Leadership Academy is delivered through a strategic partnership between the Institute of Strategic Leadership & Innovation at The University of Southern Mississippi and the Gulf Coast Business Council (GCBC).

Through this collaboration, Southern Miss leads program design, academic oversight, and instructional delivery, while GCBC contributes regional business perspective, executive engagement, and alignment with Gulf Coast leadership priorities. This structure ensures the Academy remains grounded in real-world executive challenges while maintaining the rigor and integrity of a university-led program.

Executives and Artificial Intelligence

The Executives and Artificial Intelligence Executive Leadership Academy is a partnership between the University of Southern Mississippi and the Gulf Coast Business Council. The program is designed to equip senior leaders to confidently govern, deploy, and lead with AI. The objective is to turn artificial intelligence from a technical concern into a strategic leadership advantage.

This nine-month executive experience prepares leaders to guide responsible, future-ready transformation while strengthening organizational performance and regional competitiveness.
